Pennsbury Manor is the reconstruction of William Penn’ country estate. It is located 26 miles north of Philadelphia on the Delaware River. Construction of the original building was begun in 1683. The current reconstruction offers the Manor House, Bake & Brew house where scheduled demonstrations of hearth cooking and beer brewing are presented, Worker’s Cottage, Joiner & Blacksmith’s Shops, Barn, Garden, and animal area as well as supporting visitor center with an award-winning exhibit.
Open Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday from 1-5pm. Call for specific tour times. Access to buildings with guided tours only. Seasonal January – March. Tours by appointment only. Please call to arrange group tours or for special needs. Admission charged.
