Historic interpretation focuses on the owners and tenants of the farm starting in the 18th century who farmed this portion of William Penn’s largest reserved Manor in Chester County. Tours feature the early 20th century farm which began its history as a sheep farm in the 18th century and evolved in to a 19th century gentleman’s retreat. The Agricultural Museum traces over 300 years of back breaking labor on Chester County’s farms.Best management practices, hands on learning opportunities and local livestock breeds are featured. The 306 acre park is open daily for self guided farm tours and recreational opportunities.
