The site of the birth of the great American frontiersman in 1734, the Daniel Boone Homestead interprets the life of early English and German settlers in eastern Berks County, Pennsylvania. The site includes the Boone House, Blacksmith Shop, Barn, Bertolet Log House, Sawmill, Visitor Center, picnic areas, and trails.
Visitors Center: Friday & Saturday from 10am-4pm and Sunday from 12-4pm (changes seasonally). Admission charged.
Grounds: Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm.
